When you order from RaunaqMart, we collect:

During Checkout

  • Phone number — couriers need this to find you
  • Address — obviously, to deliver your order
  • Email (optional) — only if you want us to send updates

Automatically

  • Browser type & IP address — just standard website analytics
  • Pages you visit — helps us understand what products interest you
  • How long you stay on pages — to improve the website

We use basic analytics tools like Google Site Kit to understand how people use our website. Nothing creepy — just standard stuff every store does.

How We Use Your Information

To deliver your order:

  • Your name, phone, and address go to the courier
  • We keep this information until your order arrives

To contact you:

  • If something’s wrong with your order, we’ll message/call you
  • To confirm delivery details
  • Only if YOU asked us to (like email updates)

To improve the website:

  • Analytics show us which products people look at
  • What pages are slow or confusing
  • This helps us make RaunaqMart better

We don’t:

  • Sell your contact info to anyone
  • Send unwanted promotional emails
  • Share your address with random companies
  • Use your data for anything creepy

Important: We don’t collect card details because we don’t use cards.

RaunaqMart uses Cash on Delivery only. We never see your bank account or card information — you pay the courier when they arrive. This is actually safer for you.

Sharing Your Information

We only share your information with:

  1. Couriers — PostEx, Leopards, BlueEx (whoever delivers your order)
  • They get: name, phone, address, order contents
  • They need this to deliver your package
  1. Payment providers (if/when we add other payment methods)
  • Only name, phone, amount
  • They follow their own privacy policies

We don’t share info with anyone else. No “partners,” no “third parties,” no sketchy deals.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Ask what data we have about you — message us on WhatsApp
  • Request corrections — if we have wrong info, we’ll fix it
  • Ask for deletion — after your order is delivered, we can delete your info
  • Opt out of analytics — disable cookies in your browser

Data Security

We take your information seriously. Here’s what we do:

  • SSL encryption (that padlock 🔒 in the browser) protects data you send
  • We don’t store card details (remember, COD only)
  • Passwords for admin accounts are secure
  • We don’t keep old order data longer than needed

But honestly? No security is 100% perfect. If something happens, we’ll tell you immediately.

How Long We Keep Your Information

  • Active orders: Until delivered + 7 days (for returns)
  • Old orders: We can delete after 1 year (but we might keep for taxes/records)
  • Website analytics: Google keeps this for ~26 months automatically

If you ask us to delete your data, we will (except stuff we need for legal reasons, like tax records).

Kids & Minors

RaunaqMart isn’t designed for kids. If you’re under 18, get a parent or guardian to place the order. We won’t knowingly collect info from kids under 13.
